We're a Certified B Corp!
What it means.
B Corp is a rigorous certification for businesses that work to actively create social and environmental benefits. Inc. magazine describes Certified B Corporations as "companies that have reached the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance." Over 10,000 companies have become Certified B Corporations since B Lab was established in 2006. B Corps now exist in over 100 countries and represent over 1 million employees. Large and well-known B Corps include Patagonia, Ben and Jerry's, Danone, Warby Parker, Athleta and Seventh Generation.
Mangrove joined the ranks of these Certified B Corps in November 2016 and re-certified in 2019 and in 2023, increasing our score after each assessment.
We also became a legal Benefit Corporation in California in January 2017, which is a corporate status that solidifies and underlines our commitment to our B Corp values and our mission-driven business model.
Measuring our impact.
To become a B Corp, companies must materially prove that they care as much about society and the environment as they do about their business. The B Impact Assessment determines a score for every company based on their governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.

How do we make an impact?
Environment
We are a 1% for the Planet member, donating 1% of all sales to environmental organizations. We are Climate Neutral Certified through Offset Alliance and committed to reducing our carbon footprint.
Community
We prioritize working with mission-driven organizations. Over 80% of our clients are nonprofits, social enterprises, or certified B Corps working to make a positive impact.
Workers
Our team is fully remote and distributed globally. We provide flexible schedules, professional development opportunities, and foster an inclusive workplace culture.
Governance
As a legal Benefit Corporation, we are legally required to consider the impact of our decisions on all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
